All items on this page are of various scales and include not only genuine antique and vintage items, but also KT Miniatures handmade vintage style miniatures too. For ease I have given measurements and where possible also stated what scale I think the item is. Many old dolls houses do not conform and scale is a mismatch. In this case, my advice would be to forget about scale and simply fill your little abodes with what you like.
The Fireplace Scene @ £58.00
This wooden drawer with Bakelite handle, came from an old smokers cabinet which has sat in a box for years, waiting to be used in some way. Then when sifting through my “seconds” box, I came across this replica of a 1920s fireplace that I made several years ago, based on a real 1920s German dolls house fireplace I have in my own private collection. But this particular one I classified as a second, as I was never really happy with the archway of the tiled fire insert.
So to disguise this fact, I made an old fashioned fire screen from scraps of wood, acetate glazing, a painted metal handle and a pretty antique floral silk from an old cigarette packet. I had a tiny scrap left of the most beautiful antique floral wallpaper, which has been a real favourite of mine, just enough to line the walls of this drawer.
On the mantelpiece sits two British made coloured glass candle holders (have had them for so long I cannot remember the guy’s name who made them) with imitation candles, a British made painted metal clock, and a framed picture plus vintage style envelopes made by myself. The vase is a modern reproduction but which I have had for several years, and the flowers are broken Britains lead flower heads, painted and glued in place.Measures 5″ wide to top of handle x 7 1/4″ high x 2″ deep.
This little drawer scene is ideal to sit among the books on your book shelf, or anywhere really including your mantelpiece.

The Tiny Room @ £48.00
I like to think of this little scene as a form of recycling as it is filled with several antique pieces that have been damaged in some way, none of which could be sold singularly in their own right. But now that they are fixed inside this little drawer, they take on a whole new identity, and so begins a whole new chapter in their long lives. This is quite a versatile little item, it could be hung on a wall, sit on a mantelpiece or cupboard top, or even sit snugly on a bookshelf, in between your books.
This tiny wooden drawer with Bakelite handle originally came from an antique smokers cabinet and I have had it for many years, just sitting in a box waiting to be useful one day. Then after a rummage in my broken bits box, this idea of a little scene came about and suddenly it all came together.
A scrap of antique wallpaper lined the walls, a mocked up border created using the computer, tidied up the uneven join between the wall and papered ceiling. The 1930s Charbens metal chair had lost nearly all its original paint and was missing a back foot. So with a lick of paint, a teeny piece of old broderie anglaise, a second hand miniature embroidered cushion (no idea where it came from as I have had it for so long), plus one of my miniature handmade books finished the chair off nicely.
Then there was this gorgeous c1920s German bisque doll with original clothes but…missing her right arm. However once glued into place at an angle, you would never know that she was missing her arm. And finally, a vintage plastic imitation round mirror touched up with paint, an antique glass cat missing bead eyes and collar, and one of my handmade framed pictures, added a pleasing finishing touch.
The drawer measures 4 1/8″ wide to end of handle x just under 4 1/4″ high x 1 7/8″ deep.

Vintage 1950s Metal Garden Roller @ £10.50
Here is a metal roller for the miniature garden. The movable handle is painted in a green finish. The metal roller itself does actually roll when pushed, and has bright red painted sides. Believed to have been made in the 1950s by Dinky. Measures 2 5/8″ long x 1 1/4″ wide. Overall this is in a good played with condition, just a little wear.

c1910-1920 Homemade Glazed Printed Picture @ £6.95
This is a lovely printed picture that has been self glazed with real glass and quite naively edged in brown paper strips. OK, the top and bottom edges are a little crooked which makes this rather quirky, but there is something rather enchanting about this. This came with a whole set of antique pieces ranging from 1910 to 1920 so quite old. Measures 2″ wide x just under 2″ high.
Ref: Homemade Glazed Picture
Suitable for either 1/12th or 1/16th dolls house.
Victorian Lady Photograph In Glazed Frame @ £16.00SOLD
This is a lovely antique image of a lady in Victorian dress. I think this is what is known as a daguerreotype photo, and is in a relatively good condition although there is some marking and tarnishing…but I think it can be forgiven as it is well over 100 years old. What is even more delightful is that on the back of the photo is the name and address of the photographer who took it…a W.Steele from Dudley High Street (UK). There is a hanging metal loop at the top. Measures 3″ x 2 1/2″.

Victorian/Edwardian(?) Leather Framed Photo Of Gentleman @ £16.00
Here is a delightful leather framed photo of a gentleman in old fashioned clothes – not sure if this is Victorian or possibly Edwardian? The glazed frame is rather attractive in what appears to be red leather and it has an ornate soft metal decorative surround. I think this is what is known as a daguerreotype photo, and is in a relatively good condition although there is some brown tarnishing on the image…but I think it can be forgiven as it is well over 100 years old. Measures 2 1/2″ x 2 1/8″.

c1920s/30s German Art Deco Clock @ £21.00
Here is a delightful miniature metal mantel clock, stamped GERMANY on the base. This is believed to originate from the 1920s/30s era and is very Art Deco in style. The paper clock face is original, so too the acetate glazing. The back has embossed details, which is a nice addition. Overall this is in a relatively good played with condition, some wear. Measures 7/8″ high x 1 3/8″ wide at base x 3/8″ deep at base.

Antique Green Stained Wooden Mirrored Cupboard With Decorative Metal Handle @ £19.50
I love this early 1900s cupboard- it is quite charming but I have nowhere to put it, so go it must. I suspect this is of German origin, a wooden dark green stained cupboard with a lovely mirrored door that is surrounded by an unusual shaped fretwork cut frame. So too a top pelmet reflects the shape of the door frame. The decorative soft metal door handle is original to the cupboard. This could have a variety of uses in different scale dolls houses. For instance, it would make a suitable wardrobe in a 1/16th scale dolls house. In a 1/12th scale dolls house this could make a wonderful floor or wall cupboard in a variety of rooms, plus in a larger scale dolls house this could make a wonderful wall cupboard. It measures 3 7/8″ high x 2 7/8″ wide x 1 1/2″ at deepest point. Nice item!

c1950s Pink Plastic Kleeware Lamp @ £4.00
Here is an instantly recognisable c1950s Kleeware pink plastic lamp stand with white plastic lampshade, all fixed as one piece. The pink lamp stand has some attractive molded embellishment. This is in a relatively good played with condition, a little wear. Stands at a height of 1 1/4″.

Suitable for both 1/16th or 1/12th scale dolls house
Antique Dolly Mirror With Metal Handle @ £4.00
Here is an old round mirror with a metal wire handle. I suspect that it was an old dolly mirror but the previous owner had it hanging in her old dolls house and it looked fabulous! So I am selling it for use in an old dolls house but of course you can use it as you wish. The round mirror is heavily tarnished and marked as you can see in the photos, but could be useful in an old dolls house. The backing is some kind of textured fabric/paper? Interesting item. Measures 3 1/4″ long.

Suitable for old dolls house where scale does not matter.
Antique Large Scale Decorative Tall Candlestick @ £6.95
Here is a large scale antique metal candlestick, probably early 1900s and possibly of German origin. The base has a fluted shaped base. This would look super with a vintage wax birthday candle placed in the top. Overall this is in a well played with condition, some wear. Measures height of 2 1/4″.

Suitable for large scale dolls house or old dolls house where scale does not matter.
F.W. Gerlach Metal Candle Holder @ £13.50
I love this, it is so pretty in design and although it has no mark of origin or maker, it is believed to have been made by the German manufacturer – F.W.Gerlach. It appears in Gerlach’s 1924 catalogue but is believed to have been available before that date too. The candle holder base is round shaped in a fluted way, with a little loop handle and a decorative hollow central hole for a candle to be place. NB. Old cream/white wax birthday candles are ideal for these sort of dolls house candle holders. This is in a good played with condition. Measures 1 1/4″ in diameter x 1/2″ high.

c1930s Miniature Wooden Fence & Gate @ £7.50
And now for something a little different….this came with a group of c1930s dolls house items and am assuming it is of the same era. It could be useful to someone with a smaller scale dolls house. It looks to have been commercially created although there is no makers mark, however I have found one similar on a well known auction website and that one had Germany stamped on the base. This has no makers mark or mark of origin but could also possibly from Germany. It is made of wooden twigs and the gate can open and shut. The base has been painted green and is textured in places. Overall this is in a good played with condition. Measures 9 3/4″ wide x 3 1/4″ to top of gateway. UPDATE: Someone has very kindly emailed to suggest that this was made by the German company Erzgebirge, and was part of their miniature farm.

Suitable for smaller scale dolls house such as 1/24th or a very small version of 1/16th scale dolls house?
c1930s “Tiny Toy” Small Wall Shelf@ £9.95
This is a super 1930s “Tiny Toy” wooden shelf, designed to hang on the wall as it has a pre-drilled hanging hole. It comes in a rich (almost red) varnished finish with two shelves to store your miniature books or indeed, anything else that you fancy putting on it! The top front corner edges have been shaped for extra decoration. Overall this is in a good played with condition. Measures 1 1/2″ wide x 7/8″ deep x 2″ high.

Pedestal Desk @ £18.00
This is a first for me and probably the most rare miniature piece of Kleeware furniture I have put up for sale to date! It is truly delightful and a special piece for the serious collector who likes the plastic furniture. Never handled one quite like this before, the usual Kleeware desks are far more simple, a very different design and most definitely do not have drawers that open!
Here is an unusual and quite rare vintage hard red plastic double pedestal desk with moulded detail and what is most remarkable for a Kleeware item, is that the bottom drawers on each side actually open! I do not recall any other Kleeware piece of furniture that has any kind of movable drawers? We know this is made by Kleeware as it is marked underneath : KLEEWARE MADE IN ENGLAND. As you would expect with any vintage plastic item that has been well played with, there is some wear but overall this is in a good played with and solid condition. Measures 4″ wide x 2 1/2″ high x 2 1/4″ deep.

Vintage Pond & Metal Bulrushes/Fences @ £35.00
This is lovely and so unusual!!
Here is a little pond made from a kind of modelling clay/plaster on top of some kind of board or wood base? The water detail has been painted and is covered in real glass to give a realistic water effect. Accompanying this set is a pair or painted lead bulrushes and a pair of lead fencing posts . The latter pair I think were made by Britains, but it is difficult to make out the makers mark. The bulrushes are unmarked. Previous owner thought the pond may have been made by Crescent but so far I have not been able to find anything similar out there. But I suspect this has been commercially produced. It really is lovely and would look fantastic either in front or behind a vintage dolls house! Measures 5″ x 4 1/4″.

1930s German Desk @ £10.50

Vintage Wooden Hall Seat (Hobbies Design) @ £9.50
This is a lovely wooden hall seat with lift up lid. The front has an attractive additional wooden panel embellishment. The top of the two side panels have fretwork cut out handle pieces. The top of the back panel is attractively shaped. This whole seat has been given a slightly reddish stained finish. This is understood to have been made from an old “Hobbies” Design. Overall this is in a good played with condition, some wear. Measures 2 5/8″ wide x 1 1/4″ deep x 1 7/8″ high.

Unusual Vintage Electric Fire @ £18.00
Here is an extremely unusual all wooden electric fire, presumably meant to sit on the hearth of an existing fireplace. Or I suppose it could be used as a freestanding fire anywhere in the dolls house? It is quite chunky in size, so please take note of measurements before ordering. I love this, it is quite striking and effective. I cannot make up my mind if this has been commercially produced or homemade, but whoever constructed it, made it well! Age is unknown too, but there is certainly some age to this….perhaps 1950s (could even be 1930s)? It has been given a dark brown painted finish with coordinating lighter coloured strips up each side and along the top edge. The central piece has been painted in a silver metal kind of finish, complete with two brightly painted element strips in red, orange and yellow…absolutely fabulous. On each side there are two imitation wooden switches – please note these do not move and are for effect only. On the back there is remnants of something that was once stuck on the back lower left..perhaps it may have been a label? Overall this is in a good played with condition, some wear to the paintwork, particularly the top as the paint is a little bubbled/crinkled. Measures 2 7/8″ overall width to end of switches x 2 1/4″ high x 1 1/4″ depth.

Large Scale Vintage Tootsietoy Phone @ £8.50
Here is a vintage white painted Tootsietoy phone with removable receiver which is attached to main body of phone by green cord. The dial is fixed and for effect only. As you can see, overall this is in a well played with condition with considerable paint loss, plus three of the notches on the receiver holder are long gone but the receiver still perches nicely in place. On the base it is marked TOOTSIETOY MADE IN U.S.A. Measures 1 7/8″ overall width x 1″ diameter at base x 1″ high. Even though this is heavily aged, it is a nice item.

Rare Early 1900s Erhard and Söhne Ormolu Dinner Gong & Beater £54.00
Here is an increasingly rare Erhard & Söhne gong with beater. It is listed as No. 3099 in the Erhard & Söhne catalogue and can also be seen in the Swantje-Koehler – Verlag “Ormolu Dollhouse Accesories” book. It is in completely original and excellent played with condition. Even has the original red hanging cord, and it is especially delightful to still have the beater that hangs neatly on the side…these are so often missing. Measures just under 3″ high x 2″ wide.

Antique Clear Glass Vase @ £8.50
This is a lovely antique clear glass vase, believed to be early 1900s. Unlike the preciseness and perfection in shape of the modern day miniature glass vases, the rim of this is delightfully not quite so perfect in shape, which just adds to the character! This is commonly found with the antique miniature glass pieces, the photo does not do it justice. Measures 1 1/2″ high. In good played with condition.

Reproduction Pair Of Painted Metal Toby Jugs @ £13.50
Here is a pair of modern reproduction painted metal Toby Jugs that came together so am selling them as a pair, they are not so old and came with a mixed collection of dolls house items from various eras. I think they are possibly by Warwick Miniatures and Phoenix Model Developments? They have been nicely painted, particularly the smaller one, and are quite charming. The slimmer jug is in a worn condition with some paint loss, but the other is in excellent condition. The taller one measures 5/8″ high and the other one just marginally smaller.

Early 1900s German Set Of Three Fireside Tools @ £15.00 SOLD
Here is an early 1900s set of three antique soft metal decorative gilt coloured fireside tools, comprising of a poker, tongs and shovel. They are lovely. Originally there would have been a stand that these hung on, but sadly long gone. Overall these are in a good played with condition, some loss of gilt colour off all three tools. Each piece measures 1 1/2″ long.

Unusual Tiny Antique Wire Plant Stand @ £14.50
This is quite an unusual and rather lovely plant stand, completely made from metal wire and believed to originate from the early 1900s. Maker is unknown but I suspect that this is a commercially produced item. The top is beautifully made, in exactly the same way as basket weaving, and has been given three wire legs that have looped ends for feet. By thinking laterally, I suppose this could be used in a variety of ways, other than a plant stand. Perhaps it could be used as a table for a 1/24th scale dolls house or perhaps a coffee table for 1/16th scale house. Or how about a cake stand for a 1/12th scale dining table or sideboard. In fact, I am sure you may be able to think of more uses….which makes this quite a versatile little item. Overall this is in a relatively good played with condition, some wear. Measures 7/8″ high x 1 3/4″ in diameter.

Large Scale c1920s Britains Metal Painted Coal Scuttle @ £16.00
Here is a very old Britains painted metal coal scuttle in a gold colour. The metal wire handle is moveable. There is a tiny nibble in the rim of the base and some wear to the paintwork but as this is nearly 100 years old I think it can be forgiven. Nice item for an antique dolls house. Measures 1 5/8″ at highest point x 1 7/8″ long x 1 1/2″ wide.
