c1930s German Dining Chair With Rexine Type Seat Pad @ £14.50

Here is a 1930s German wooden dining chair in a dark varnished finish with a rexine type seat pad that has been inset into the seat. The turned wooden legs and chair back supports are lovely in design, not too dissimilar to the Elgin/Tri-ang chairs produced around the same era. The rexine type seat pad is very distinctive and a gorgeous feature. Although I have placed this chair under the Living/Dining Room section, it could be used in almost any room of an old dolls house. Overall, this is in a relatively good played with condition, there is a little wear plus presumably the syncrhonised holes on the chair back are from the turning? Measures 1 5/8″ wide x 1 1/2″ deep x 3 1/4″ back height x 1 3/8″ sitting height. This is a charming little item, and kind of in between the two scales so please check the measurements for suitability before ordering.
