Antique German Miniature Gnome @ £25.00

Here is a lovely antique sitting gnome figure. I am not quite sure what it is made of – possibly plaster, as even though there is some weight to it, it doesn’t feel like metal. Previous owner felt this was German and old, perhaps 1920s/30s. It comes in original painted condition and the muted patina of the colours is just gorgeous. He is in a good played with condition, there are some minor nibbles to the paintwork. Measures 2 ¼” high x 1 1/8” long at base x ¾” wide at base. This little guy has a multitude of uses and could appeal to a dolls house collector, and although I have put him in the garden section, he could possibly be used inside the dolls house too. Really lovely item.
