Old Wooden Dressing Table@ £19.50
Here is a rather lovely dark stained wooden dressing table. Exact origin unknown but believed to date from around the 1920s, or possibly earlier. There is an art nouveau feel to it. I feel that this was commercially made, rather than homemade. It has a shaped top with round mirror and three small upper shelves – so useful for some of those little knick-knacks! On the lower half of the dressing table are two opening drawers and two opening cupboard doors. The mirror is a little tarnished but otherwise this is in a good played with condition. It measures 6 7/8” high x just over 4” wide x 2 ¼” deep, so this scale is slightly larger than a normal 1/12th scale. To help put scale in context, the dressing work top height is 3 1/8” high. Lovely item.

This is a slightly larger scale dolls than a traditional 1/12th scale dolls house so suitable for a larger scale house or old dolls house where scale does not matter.
