c1920s-30s Wooden Grandfather Clock @ £16.00
Here is a charming and quite unusual wooden grandfather clock, which is believed to have been homemade from plans found in a magazine during the 1920s/30s era, (eg. Handicrafts, Hobbies or Woodworker), although at the time of listing I have not been able to identify the specific design. This has been beautifully made, with a fretwork frontage and real glass glazing over a paper clock face, plus the maker for additional charm has added pencil detail along all edges. It is quite a solid piece. Overall, this is in a good played with condition, there is a little glue staining around the left side of the clock face. *This is quite chunky in construction and scale is a bit all over the place, therefore please check dimensions before ordering to check whether it suits your needs. Measures 2 ¾” wide at base x 1 ½” deep x 4 ¾” high.
Ref: Wooden Grandfather Clock
*Suitable for 1/12th scale or possibly larger scale dolls, or old dolls house where scale does not matter.
