c1940s Pit-a-Pat Rexine Three Piece Suite @ £65.00
This is an instantly recognisable rexine covered Pit-a-Pat three piece suite, and it is the smaller version so most suitable for 1/16th scale dolls house. There is a rectangular ink Pit-a-Pat makers mark underneath the sofa only, and all these chairs interestingly have metal stud feet (and not the usual wooden bead and tack feet) – so these are believed to have been made early in the 1940s during WW2. The sofa measures 3 3/8” wide x 1 ¾” deep x 1” sitting height x 2 ¼” back height. Armchairs measures 2 ¼” wide x 1 ¾” deep x 1” sitting height x 2 ½” back height. They are in a good played with condition, just a little wear.
