circa post war 1940s/50s DCA Hoover Model 262 Upright Vacuum Cleaner With Lead & Plug @ £16.00
Here is a lovely vintage DCA upright vacuum cleaner, that refreshingly comes with its lead and tiny metal plug. There is the original brown fabric dustbag, plus brown painted metal handle that tilts backwards, just like the real-life sized model of this vacuum. The bottom metal part of this vacuum comes in a light brown and dark brow painted finish. Underneath the vacuum are the embossed words MADE IN ENGLAND NO.3372514A MODEL HOOVER262 COPYRIGHT DESIGN. It refreshingly still has its lead and the two-prong metal plug on the end, (these are so often missing). So overall, this is in a good played with condition, just a little wear. Measures 1” wide at the base x stands at a height of approx. 4”.
