Early 1900s Miniature “Merry Wives Of Windsor” Book @ £16.00 SOLD
Here is a delightful miniature book with red suede type cover of the Shakespeare’s Merry Wives Of Windsor. Inside it has the wording Glasgow, David Bryce & Son, London: Henry Frowde. Oxford University Press Warehouse, Amen Corner. I am assuming it originates from the early part of the 1900s. There is one black and white illustration at the beginning of the book, and the rest is just black text. In addition, there is a tiny pink label on the inside front cover with the address of J.H.Bishop, a Bournemouth stationer, where this presumably was originally sold from all those decades ago. There is a little creasing in the corner of the first two front pages but overall, this is in a good played with condition. It measures 2 1/8” long x 1 ½” wide, so is quite large for a dolls house.

This would suit a large scale dolls house or old dolls house where scale does not matter.
