Late 1800s/Early 1900s Free-Standing Screen (Unused Happy New Year Card) SOLD

Previous owner used this gorgeous four panel free standing Happy New Year card as a screen/room divider in her old dolls house. It dates from the late 1800s/Early 1900s and is in excellent used condition. The panels are blue with gold stars and gold edging, and with a black patterned border. On the other side are four pretty illustrated scenes, all featuring the sea in background. Truly lovely item and I have to say that in 28 years of trading, I have never come across anything quite like this before. It is in a good used condition, just a little wear. Overall width of card measures 5 ½” wide x 3 ¼” high.
