Old German Basket @ £11.50

This reed basket came with some early 1900s dolls house furniture so am assuming that it is of the same era. I believe it is of German origin, and has an opening lid. There is a bead at the front that would have had a loop of some sort to hook over it to fasten the lid down. Overall, this is in a relatively well played with condition, there are some holes in the lid where bits of reed are missing but seeing as this is extremely old, I think it can be forgiven. It measures 2 ¾” deep x 3 ½” wide x 1 3/8” high. This could have a variety of uses eg. would look fantastic in an old dolls house bedroom on top of a wardrobe, in a kitchen/pantry of an old dolls house or even an old dolls house nursery as a toy basket. Lovely item.
