Old Wooden Washstand @ £16.00

Here is a rather lovely dark stained wooden washstand. Exact origin unknown but believed to date from around the 1920s, or possibly even earlier.  On the side of each leg panel is a lovely decorative engraved design – so very art nouveau in style. I feel that this was commercially made, rather than homemade.  The lower shelf is useful for storing all those little bits and bobs one would have with regards to a washstand. This is in an excellent played with condition.  Measures 4 ¼” wide x 2” deep x 4 ¼” back height x 3” main washstand top height. Lovely item.

This is a slightly larger scale dolls than a traditional 1/12th  scale dolls house so suitable for a larger scale house or old dolls house where scale does not matter.
