Vintage Amersham Left Opening Window BOTH SOLD
Here are two vintage metal windows from an old Amersham dolls house which are being sold separately. They each have a small top fixed window that still has the original acetate glazing, and a main left opening window which is missing its acetate glazing. The lattice opening window is attached to the frame by a long narrow metal rod that runs down the inside right of the frame. The frame is mostly in the original green painted finish (although I think they may have been touched up along the top) and the lattice window inserts are definitely in original white painted finish. But as you can see from the photos, these windows are all in a much played with condition, there is some rust in places and there is paint loss. However, if you have an old Amersham dolls house and missing one of these windows, this is a fabulous opportunity to purchase a replacement, as these are becoming more difficult to find these days intact. Each outer frame measures 2 ½” wide x 3 3/8” high. There is a fixing nail hole in each corner of the frame.
