Vintage Barton Coal Box With Coal @ £4.50
Here is a vintage gold painted metal coal box by Barton, complete with coal. The coal box has a moveable handle and loop at the back where a tiny metal coal shovel should be, but sadly that is long gone. However, having the addition of tiny pieces of coal is a massive bonus. Overall, this coal box is in a well used condition with considerable wear and marking to the exterior, however all this works in its favour as it gives an air of realism and a feeling that it looks much older than it actually is. Nice little item. Measures 3/4″ wide x 1 1/8″ long x 3/4″ high with the handle perched downwards.
Suitable for 1/16th scale dolls house or old dolls house where scale does not matter.
