Vintage Boxed Amanda Ann “Serpentine Front Plastic Sideboard” By Combex @ £11.50

 Here is a rather lovely vintage brown plastic decorative sideboard made by Combex under the range name of Amanda Ann. It is described on the box as being a SERPENTINE FRONT SIDEBOARD.  To still have the original box is a bonus.  It is rather attractive for a plastic piece of furniture, and not only do all four tiny drawers open but all the tiny doors too. The two central doors have additional gold decoration, plus all handles are painted gold. On the back is the trade mark – MADE IN HONG KONG LOUIS MARX & CO. I am assuming then that Marx owned the tradename Combex. On the box it states…..”Amanda Ann miniature dolls house furniture designed by craftsmen with little girls in mind”…oh how times have changed since then! Overall, this is in a good played with condition, it looks hardly played with, just a teeny bit of wear on the back. The box is showing a little bit of scuffing but it is all there. Sideboard measures 4” wide x 1 1/8” deep x 2 ¼” back height.
