Vintage Early Barton Tudor Court Cupboard @ £24.00SOLD
Here is one of the lovely earlier models of a vintage Barton Tudor court cupboard, in a dark stained finish. Each door has the instantly recognisable pressed diamond decoration and either side of the lower door is a multiple “S” decoration. This same decoration is also seen on each side panel. On the upper angled side pieces there is a pressed square design. Along the top is sausage and ball beading, this same beading is also seen each side of the upper door, the upper half has turned supports. The black painted brass door handles on the top and lower doors is a clue to this being one of the earlier examples of the Barton court cupboard. Overall, this is in a good played with condition, there is a little wear and some scuffing alongside the very top of the cupboard and down the lower right-hand side. Measures 4 ¼” wide x 1 ½” deep x 3 7/8” high. Lovely item!
