Vintage FGT & Sons Blue Electric Metal Fire @ £5.50

Here is a vintage metal electric fire by FGT & Sons in a blue painted finish, their trademark is embossed on the back. The cord is long gone (it would have been attached through the hole in the back), plus as you can see in the photo, this is in a well-played with condition, with some paint loss. But nevertheless, it is still a useful little item. The electric elements are painted in orange to give the illusion that the fire is switched on. We used to have a real life sized one of these when I was growing up in the 1950s/60s. Measures 1 ¼” at widest point (base) x ½” deep (base) x 1 1/8” to top of handle.
