Vintage Nursery Rhyme Lampshade @ £6.50

Here is a quirky hard plastic bell shape lampshade with transfer images of  “Tom Tom, The Piper’s Son”. It is believed to have originally been part of a string of Christmas tree lights from the 1950s. But a creative previous owner fixed a button and wire to create it into a dolls house lampshade. The ryhme in written form is on one side and there are two images of Tom running away with the pig and an image of the butcher chasing him 🙂 Overall this is in a relatively good used condition, a little wear and some browing from the original transfer adhesive. Measures 1 5/8″ in diameter at the bottom of the shade and 1 3/4″ high. Quite an unusual item.
