1/2 Day – Old Style Kitchen Workshop No. 1 @ £70.00
Why not join me for a fun three-hour workshop in the privacy of my Thame (Oxfordshire) home, and learn how to make these old style pieces of kitchen furniture and accessories, convincing enough to use in your old dolls house kitchen or old miniature room setting. You will need to choose prior to the workshop on whether you would like to create in 1/12th scale or the smaller 1/16th scale. Both scales are shown in these photos.
You will learn how to use cardboard, card and even some recycled materials to make these kitchen items, as well as painting techniques using acrylic paint. This half day workshop has been designed to complement the Old Style Kitchen Workshop No. 2 , so why not come and do both, and spend a whole day here? This project is so versatile, that the furniture and accessories can be finished in colours of your choice, and dimensions adapted to suit your old dolls house if required.
Whether you are an experienced crafter/miniaturist or absolute beginner, simply reach your own creative potential and work at your own pace, learning new techniques in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Previous attendees have commented that they prefer the small private class, as they find it less intimidating and feel more confident than if they were in a larger group. Hence, this is being offered as a “one to one” class at a mutually convenient time ( I can be flexible). Also, if there is a group of you, this class is suitable for up to three people maximum. Cost is £70 per person. Please email, ring or text if you are interested.
