Rare Lines Bros Metal Window & Glass SOLD
Rarely do these Lines Bros windows turn up but I am delighted to say that I have one here which came from a very poor old redundant Lines Bros DH1 dolls house. The frame is gloss painted metal and the original glass pane is present. The frame measures 5 1/4″ x 4″ and the glass measures 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″. The glass would have fitted into a hole in the dolls house carcass of the above measurements and kept in place with the aid of tiny tacks. The frame would then fit over the front and tacked into place in each of the four corners. Overall this is in a good played with condition. Each of the four corners of the frame are slightly curled which occurred when removing the window. But these should flatten out when the window is nailed into place.

Vintage White Chimney From Old Lines Bros/Tri-ang (?) Dolls House @ £11.50
Here is a substantial textured white painted wooden chimney, believed to be from an old earlier Lines Bros/ Tri-ang dolls house. Sorry I do not know which one. Still retains original fixing nail that slots into hole on the roof. As you can see in the photo the complete fixing angle of the chimney is a right angle – so the roof needs to be at an approx 90% angle. There are no chimney pots on this chimney and never have been. In a good played with condition, some wear. Rarely comes along! Measures 2″ wide x 1 1/2″ deep x 2 3/4″ high.

Vintage Single Tri-ang Metal Window Plus Two Tacks @ £14.00
Here is a single metal window from a Tri-ang dolls house and two original tiny fixing tacks. It still has the original acetate glazing and in a reasonably good played with condition, some wear. This came from a No.62 dolls house which sits to the side of the front door and is fixed singularly to the frontage using the two tacks, without the use of the metal frame. However, similarly if you bend the top and bottom tables back gently with pliers then this can be fitted to an existing frame (although please note there is always a chance that whilst bending the tabs they may snap off so will be done at your own risk). Measures 2 1/2″ high x 1 1/4″ wide (not including tabs).

Vintage Completely Original Tri-ang Dolls House Front Door @ £17.50 RESERVED
Here is a delightful fully intact brown stained wooden front door from an old Tri-ang dolls house, rarely do these doors come along these days in such great condition – let alone with all the fixtures and fittings! Still retains both metal hinges, metal movable door knocker, tack handle and metal letter box. It has been lightly scored to give the illusion of wooden panels. Does not come along very often so a good opportunity if you have a an old dolls house missing the front door! Measures 3 3/8″ high x 1 1/2″ wide. (I understand this came from a Tri-ang No. 62 dolls house but will probably fit one or two other models too – please check measurements).

Rare Tri-ang c1960s Spot-On Window Components
RARE! c1960s Tri-ang Spot-On Unopened Packet – “No. 1153 Contemporary Small Two Light Window “@ £19.00
This is an extremely rare unopened packet of an all plastic Tri-ang Spot-On Contemporary Small Window, with two panes, neither of which are opening. All seems to be fully intact, including the relevant fixing lugs which I suspect would have easily snapped off during play. So folks….if you have a vintage “A” or “C” Tri-ang Bungalow dolls house missing one of these windows, then here is a fantastic rare opportunity to replace with another one! Also, as these were sold separately by dolls house suppliers during the 1960s, there may be some of you out there who still have in your possession your homemade dolls houses that would have had these windows in too?
In this packet there appears to be two frames and one piece of clear plastic . I assume that the two frames click together via the lugs. As far as I can tell, measuring through the packet plastic, the window frame measures 4 1/8″ wide and 1 3/8″ high.
