Here is a lovely wooden antique dressing table, believed to be of German origin. The curved shaped decorative trims add extra charm to this rather charming solid piece of furniture. All four lower drawers open nicely. The four upper drawers are deliberately non opening and are for effect only. All metal tack handles are present, even on the upper mock drawers. There are some useful tiny upper shelves and the lovely wooden framed mirror swivels nicely. Overall, this is in a good played with condition, there is a little wear and some weeny bits of scuffing, plus I assume the upper half has been reglued to the lower half at some point in its life as I can see a hint of glue residue underneath the join line of the upper mock drawers. Measures 3 ¾” wide x 2” deep x just under 7” to the highest point x 2 5/8” to dressing table worktop height.
