c1930s German ANFOE Upright Vacuum Cleaner @ £35.00

Here is a highly sought-after German made metal upright vacuum cleaner with fabric bag, not seen that often these days, particularly in such good and original condition. This is marked GERMANY underneath and the fabric bag has the name ANFOE printed on the front in red lettering. The bag is attached to the handle via the original metal hook. This is believed to have been sold in the 1930s by Basset Lowke Ltd., as part of the “Nuways” dolls house range. The handle tilts right back, just like a real upright vacuum. Behind the rear of the metal base is a pair of metal wheels that rotate, so this can be pushed along beautifully…great fun! The handle is painted black, plus there is the original red tri-angular symbol still present on the front of the base. Measures 1 ¼” wide x 4 ½” high to very top of handle when upright.
