c1930s German Metal Lampstand @ £35.00
These lovely metal lampstands no longer come along very often, and this one even still has its tiny original glass bulb. There is no wiring and I do not think there ever was, it was just for effect only. Underneath it is marked GERMANY and is in original gilt colour. Overall, this is in a good played with condition, just a little gilt loss. It stands at a height of 1 ½” from base to top of bulb. Lovely item!
As you can see, there is no lampshade, but I have seen really sweet little shades made from tiny pleated paper sweet/chocolate cases – if you can find one small & pretty enough, it would be just a simple case of draping it over the top.
