Here is a 1950s metal gas fire in the original black painted finish (with a hint of metallic gold), and with a white painted mesh frontage. There is some additional embossed decorative detail at the top and bottom half of the frontage, which adds to the charm of this gas fire. On the back it is marked FGT & SONS LTD – MADE IN ENGLAND. This is in an excellent played with condition. Measures 2 3/8” high x 1 3/8” wide.
