Rare – Small Bedroom Miniature Dresser With Silk Panels (signed by M A Chandler & dated 1988) @ £79.00

How exquisite is this piece of wooden furniture, I have not handled anything quite like it before!

This wonderful piece of pre-loved dolls house furniture, has been artisan made. Previous owner purchased it from the Singing Tree Dolls House Shop around the late 1980s. In fact it is dated 1988 and signed by what I think says M A Chandler. If anyone out there can shed some light on this artisan I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Am not sure what the wood is, but could it be mahogany? The side panels are delightfully shaped, and along with the worktop, plus two upper shelves, there is plenty of display space to store your miniature bedroom toiletries, as I am assuming this is for the bedroom (or perhaps a bathroom)? The lower doors which have tiny brass handles, are lined with green silk fabric and open to reveal an interior shelf. The carved feet finish this off perfectly. This is a very delicate piece of furniture and one for the serious collector. Overall, this is in a good pre-loved condition. It measures 2 ½” wide x 1 1/8” deep x 4 1/8” back height x 2 ¼” worktop height, so probably most suitable for a 1/16th scale dolls house. An absolute fabulous item!
