The Old Curiosity Shop In A Book

This was created as a “how to make” project for the Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine, March 2012 issue. It is a scene from Charles Dickens’ Old Curiosity Shop. The book was created from cardboard and given an antiquated finish by using a special paint technique. Then the interior was filled with an array of KT Miniatures handmade items, vintage pieces plus bits and bobs from my “could be useful one day” box.
