Tiny 1930s Bisque Doll Inside Antique Japanese Wooden Drawer @ £29.00

This is so tiny, that it could fit almost anywhere and something to make you smile.

The 1930s bisque doll had been so well played with over the decades that she had looked a little sorry for herself and was suffering from wear and tear, plus her beautiful artisan crocheted dress and bloomers had been badly snagged at the rear. But she was still so pretty, that I felt she deserved to be loved and admired even more, including her gorgeous clothes. So, I came up with the idea to fix her inside this tiny random drawer so that she could be seen and enjoyed in all her glory.

The drawer had come with a bunch of antique dolls house furniture, and which had clearly been part of an old Japanese chest of drawers. The drawer front is inlaid with original metal handle, although one tiny piece of wood is missing from the back edge of the inlay. The drawer measures 1 7/8” wide x 1 ¼” deep x 3 1/8” high.

I hope that there is someone out there who can give this little treasure a good home and love her even more.
