Vintage Wooden Shop With Interior Shelf & Five Tins Plus Packet SOLD
Here is a super vintage wooden miniature shop that was sold quite some time ago, probably made by Kaybot. I included five vintage tins (soup, broth, peas, carrots and strawberries) and a packet of margarine as an addition to kick start the contents, they did not originally come with the store.
The main slightly faded paper heading says GOLLY STORES, and either side is an OK SAUCE advert. The exterior has a pale-yellow painted finish and the roof a red painted finish, quite an attractive combination. The frontage opens via two large doors. On each door there are remnants of two vintage GOLDEN SHRED adverts…but as you can see, they are torn and faded. Inside there is one large shelf and what fun you could have by stacking the inside full of vintage packaging, etc. On the top, hidden behind the main sign, is a wooden compartment that houses a battery. There is in fact still a light bulb on the ceiling just inside the doorway, but this is all old wiring and I have absolutely no idea if it still works. Overall, this is in a relatively good played with condition, but there is some wear. Measures 12 ¼” wide x 5” deep x 10 1/4” high.
